On Friday, May 18, 2012, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series traveled to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the N.C. Education Lottery 200. This was the fifth race of the season for the series and would prove to be one of the most memorable races for one driver and his team and a narrow loss for another. The last 10 laps were classic NASCAR and culminated in a photo finish.
